In 2024 every Managed Cloud Build plan on its homepage was half the price it had shown in early October, and Managed Cloud started at $14.98 a month on Black Friday in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Today Build #1 is $29.95/mo on a 12-month term, $359.40 upfront, and renews at $54.95/mo. In 2025 the sale opened on October 30.
I tested ScalaHosting on the same WordPress site I use for every host. Entry Cloud, its cheapest plan with its own CPU and RAM, answered in 38ms from New York with one visitor and 58ms with 100 visitors at once, and no request failed on the climb to 250. What ScalaHosting Offered on Past Black Fridays
We went back to ScalaHosting's own homepage as the Wayback Machine saved it on Black Friday weekend each year, and to the same page a few weeks before and after. Here is what it showed.

The saved copies show the prices on the page, not a checkout, and do not say which term (36, 12 or 1 month) was selected when they were saved. ScalaHosting's "% off" labels are measured against its higher regular rate, not against the October price. On December 4, 2025, after the promo ended, the homepage still showed managed from $22.46 and web hosting from $2.66.
What this means for a buyer: since 2023 ScalaHosting's Black Friday has cut the price shown before the sale, not just a regular rate few people pay. Today's four Build prices are the same as on October 1, 2024, the month before it halved them. If you want a managed VPS and can wait until the end of October, the records say waiting has paid off three years running.
How ScalaHosting Held Up in Our Tests
We ran the same WordPress site on three ScalaHosting plans and on the cloud and VPS plans buyers usually compare it with. We measured response time (TTFB) from 10 locations at the origin server, with no CDN in front, a load ramp from 0 to 250 clients at once, and uptime over 54 days. Full method: How We Test.

Lower is better for response times. "10 locations" is the average TTFB across our 10 test locations; "100 at once" is the response time with 100 visitors at the same moment. Failed requests are counted over the whole ramp to 250 clients, 8,250 requests per host: Hostinger Cloud Startup 33, none of the other plans failed a request. The managed VPS we benchmarked was sold as Start at the time; we have not matched it to one of today's Build plans, so it carries no price on this page.
What this means for a buyer: every ScalaHosting plan we tested answered 100 visitors at once in under a tenth of a second and failed no requests. Entry Cloud was about twice as quick under that load as Hostinger's KVM 2 and five times as quick as Hostinger Cloud Startup, and even shared Advanced beat both. The managed VPS was the fastest plan in this table. If a Black Friday sale brings a managed Build plan close to Entry Cloud's price, that is a lot of server for the money.
What ScalaHosting Costs Over Four Years, Compared
A low first-term price hides the renewal, so the fair comparison is the whole bill. Here is four years on each plan at today's prices: the first term at the intro price, then the renewal rate for the rest.

Today's prices before tax, renewing on the same term. The test column is the same load ramp on the same WordPress site for every plan.
Two things stand out. Entry Cloud's 12-month price is the lowest per month, but over four years the 36-month term costs less, because the renewal starts two years later. And Managed Cloud's renewal is steep: Build #1 renews at $54.95/mo, nearly twice today's price, so a Black Friday first year only softens the first of four. If 2026 repeats the 2024 price on a 12-month term, Build #1's first year would cost about $179.76 instead of $359.40.
What Happens When the First Term Ends
The intro price, and any Black Friday price, is for your first term only. After it, Entry Cloud renews at $39.95/mo, $479.40 a year; Managed Cloud Build #1 at $54.95/mo, $659.40 a year; shared Advanced at $19.95/mo, $239.40 a year. ScalaHosting prints the renewal under each plan card as "when you renew".
- Put the renewal date in your calendar when you buy, with a reminder about six weeks before.
- Take the longest term you are sure about. On Entry Cloud the 36-month term costs less over four years than the 12-month one, even though its monthly price is higher.
- Compare before it renews. Moving to another host can cost less than the renewal; our guide on whether to renew or move walks through the numbers.
How to Buy at the Lowest Price
- Open ScalaHosting's pricing page through our link or directly. In the sale, the Black Friday price shows on the plan cards.
- Pick the plan: Entry Cloud for one busy site, a Managed Cloud Build if you want the server looked after, shared Advanced for a small site.
- Pick the term and read the upfront total next to it. The lowest monthly price is not always the cheapest over the years you plan to stay.
- Choose the data center closest to most of your visitors.
- Read the order summary, keep only the add-ons you chose, and check the "when you renew" line before you pay.
Who Should Buy It

What We Did Not Test
- The four Build plans as sold today. We benchmarked Entry Cloud, shared Advanced and a managed VPS sold at the time as Start; the Build plans are compared on price.
- Black Friday checkouts. The past prices come from ScalaHosting's saved homepage, not from a purchase, and the saved copies do not say which term was selected.
- Support and refunds. This page measures servers and prices, not how quickly ScalaHosting answers a ticket or pays back a refund.
What I Would Do
If you want a managed VPS from ScalaHosting, I would wait for Black Friday: in 2023, 2024 and 2025 Managed Cloud started at $14.98 on Black Friday, half today's $29.95/mo, and in 2025 the sale opened on October 30. Then I would put the renewal date in my calendar, because $54.95/mo is what it costs after that. If you need a fast server now, Entry Cloud at $14.95/mo answered 100 visitors at once in 58ms in our test, and the 36-month term is the cheaper way to keep it.

When does ScalaHosting Black Friday 2026 start?
ScalaHosting has not announced it yet. Its 2025 Black Friday post said the promo ran from October 30 to December 1, 2025, so the sale started about four weeks before Black Friday. In 2023 and 2024 the Black Friday prices were on its homepage on Black Friday weekend; in 2023 they were gone by December 5, and in 2024 they were still up on December 6.
Is the ScalaHosting Black Friday price lower than the normal price?
Yes, on the records we have. In 2024 every Managed Cloud Build plan was half its early-October price on Black Friday weekend: Build #1 went from $29.95 to $14.98 a month. In 2023 Build #1 dropped from $29.95 to the same $14.98, and in 2025 Managed Cloud started at $14.98 against $29.95 in early October. The "70% off" and "80% off" labels are measured against ScalaHosting's higher regular rate, so the real cut against the October price was about half.
Do I need a coupon code for ScalaHosting Black Friday?
Not on the records we have: the Black Friday prices showed on the homepage plan cards. ScalaHosting's 2025 Black Friday post says its discounts and coupons only work inside the promo dates, so check the price in the cart rather than relying on an old code.
What does ScalaHosting renew at after the Black Friday term?
The sale price covers the first term only. Today Managed Cloud Build #1 renews at $54.95/mo, Build #2 at $96.95/mo, Entry Cloud at $39.95/mo and shared Advanced at $19.95/mo. Those renewals are well above even the regular price, so put the renewal date in your calendar.
