Who You Are Reaching

There Is No Team. Just One Person Who Cares a Lot About Hosting.

Mangesh Supe

Mangesh Supe — Founder & Sole Researcher

I started ThatMy.com in 2016 after a hosting company destroyed my website and nobody in the review industry seemed to care. Over the past 10 years, I have purchased 62+ hosting plans with my own money, spent $12,000+ on test accounts, and written every word on this site myself. I do not have a content team. I do not outsource reviews. When you email ThatMy.com, you reach me directly.

10+ Years Testing Hosting 62+ Plans Purchased Based in India Replies Personally

I am not a customer service representative reading from a script. If you ask me whether Cloudways is better than SiteGround for a WooCommerce store with 5,000 monthly visitors, I will give you a real answer based on actual test data — not a generic "it depends" followed by an affiliate link.

That said, I am one person. I cannot respond instantly, I cannot test every hosting provider you mention, and I cannot write custom migration plans for your specific server setup in a 24-hour turnaround. Reasonable expectations make for better conversations.

What I Can Help With

Good Reasons to Email ThatMy.com

Not every question requires an email — a lot of what people ask me is already answered somewhere on the site. But here are the things I genuinely love to help with:

Hosting Recommendation

Tell me your site type, traffic level, and budget. I will tell you exactly which host I would choose and why.

Data Corrections

Found a wrong price, outdated spec, or incorrect test result on our site? Email me. I update within 72 hours of a verified correction.

Provider Suggestions

Know a hosting provider we should test and review? Send the name and why you think it deserves coverage. I research every suggestion.

Complaint About a Host

Had a bad experience with a hosting company? Share the details. Real customer stories inform our reviews and help others avoid the same trap.

Collaboration Inquiry

Researcher, journalist, or web professional who wants to collaborate on hosting content? I am occasionally open to partnerships that align with our editorial standards.

Affiliate Link Issue

Clicked an affiliate link that did not track correctly or sent you to the wrong page? Let me know. I will investigate and fix it.

Before You Send That Email

Save Us Both Time — Check These First

I reply to every email personally, which means the quality of my replies is directly tied to how many emails I am managing. Help me help you by checking these sources first:

Check the How We Test page first

Most methodology questions — "Why is Hostinger ranked higher than SiteGround?" or "What does your TTFB test actually measure?" — are answered in detail on our How We Test page. It is 6,000+ words of methodology explanation.

If you have a question about a specific hosting provider — pricing, renewal terms, performance data — check the relevant review page first. Most specific questions are already answered with data in the body of the review.

Check our comparison pages

"Which is better: Cloudways vs SiteGround?" — we have comparison pages for most common matchups. Search the site before emailing a comparison question.

Do not email for paid promotion requests

We do not accept paid reviews, sponsored placements, "editorial partnerships," or any arrangement where money influences rankings. These emails go straight to trash. If you are a hosting company representative, save yourself the time.

Do not email for guest post or link exchange requests

We do not publish guest posts. We do not do link exchanges. We do not sell links. The entire value of ThatMy.com rests on editorial independence — we are not going to compromise that for SEO backlink schemes.

Do not expect instant technical support

I can tell you which hosting provider to choose and why. I cannot debug your WordPress theme, configure your cPanel, or troubleshoot your DNS records via email. For technical support issues with a hosting plan, contact your hosting provider directly.

The golden rule for a good email: Tell me your site type, current hosting situation, traffic level, and specific question. The more specific you are, the faster and more useful my reply will be. Generic "what hosting should I use?" emails take much longer to answer well.
For Hosting Companies

If You Are a Hosting Company Representative

We get emails from hosting company PR and affiliate teams regularly. Here is how we handle them — transparently, so there are no surprises.

Can we pay to be featured or ranked higher on ThatMy.com?

No. Rankings are determined entirely by our testing methodology: TTFB performance, load test results, uptime data, value analysis, and TOS fairness. Commission size has zero influence on rankings. Several of the highest-paying affiliate programs are on our blacklist precisely because their product quality does not match their marketing claims.

We found incorrect information in your review. How do we get it corrected?

Email mangesh@thatmy.com with the specific claim, why it is incorrect, and the correct data including a source. I will investigate independently and update the page within 72 hours if the correction is verified. Note: "our marketing says" is not a source. Actual server specifications, pricing pages, and TOS documents are sources.

We want ThatMy.com to join our affiliate program. How do we apply?

We join affiliate programs for hosting providers we have already tested and are willing to recommend. If you want us to join your program, first make sure your hosting product is genuinely competitive on performance and value. Then email us at mangesh@thatmy.com with your program details. We will evaluate your product against our testing criteria and make a decision independently.

We want to send you a free hosting account for review.

We decline free accounts as a policy. Free press accounts receive different server resources than paying customers. If we review your hosting, we purchase it at the regular customer price — just like your users do. This is non-negotiable. It is the only way to ensure our review reflects the actual customer experience.

General Questions

Contact FAQ

I emailed 3 days ago and have not heard back. What should I do?

First, check your spam folder — replies from mangesh@thatmy.com occasionally get filtered. If you have checked and it is not there, send a follow-up email referencing your original message date. I do not intentionally ignore emails, but I occasionally miss things during busy periods.

Do you offer paid consulting or personalized hosting advice?

Not formally. I answer hosting questions in emails for free as part of the ThatMy.com mission. If you need extensive ongoing consultation for a large infrastructure decision, I may refer you to a managed hosting provider that offers professional migration and setup services.

Can you help me migrate my site from one host to another?

I can point you to our migration guides and tell you which hosting providers offer free managed migration (Cloudways, SiteGround, and WP Engine all do this well). I cannot perform the migration for you — that is not a service we offer.

I have a complaint about a hosting company. Will you publish it?

Send it to mangesh@thatmy.com with as much detail as possible: dates, support ticket numbers, screenshots if available. We research complaint patterns and incorporate verified user experiences into our reviews. We do not publish individual complaints verbatim, but they inform our ongoing research significantly.

Are you available for podcast interviews or expert quotes?

Yes. I am available for hosting-related media requests — podcasts, expert quotes for articles, webinars, or conference panels. Email mangesh@thatmy.com with the details of your request and I will respond within 3 business days.
