Namecheap has not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale yet. On each of the last five, the cut came as a coupon code printed on the shared hosting page, not as a lower card price: in 2025 the code took up to 80% off Stellar's first year. Today Stellar is $2.28/mo, billed $26.88 for the first year, and it renews at $55.88 a year, sale or no sale.
One thing to know up front: we have not benchmarked Namecheap, so this page has no speed or load results for it. It covers what each plan costs, what past Black Fridays offered, what each plan renews at, and how the four-year bill compares with shared plans we have tested.

Namecheap sells three Stellar shared hosting plans with cPanel, billed yearly. Each card prints a monthly figure, the total you pay for the first year and the yearly renewal. The card starts with a 30-day free trial switched on; the prices below are with the trial off, which is what you pay for the year.

What Namecheap Offered on Past Black Fridays
We went back to Namecheap's shared hosting page as the Wayback Machine saved it around Thanksgiving each year, and to the same page in early October. Every year the sale worked the same way: the card price stayed put, and a code printed on the page took a percentage off at checkout.

All past codes have expired. The saved copies show the plan pages, not a checkout, so the price after the code is not on record; the percentages are the ones Namecheap printed beside each plan. The discount applied to the first year only.
What this means for a buyer: the Namecheap Black Friday saving is real but sits in the code, so the card price you see before the sale is not the price you pay during it, and a page that shows only the card misses the deal. The code has grown each year for Stellar, from 72% to 80%, while the renewal stayed at the full yearly rate.
What We Did Not Test
- Namecheap's servers. We have not run our benchmark on any Namecheap shared plan, so we have no response time, load or uptime figures for it. The speed figures on this page belong to the other hosts in the comparison.
- Black Friday checkouts. The past codes and percentages come from saved copies of Namecheap's pages, not from a purchase, so we cannot show the price each code produced in the cart.
- EasyWP and domains. This page is about Stellar shared hosting. Namecheap's WordPress product and domain deals are mentioned only where its own pages printed them.
- Support, backups and refunds. This page does not measure how quickly Namecheap answers a ticket, how AutoBackup restores, or how it handles a refund.
What Namecheap Costs Over Four Years, Compared
A low first-year price hides the renewal, so the fair comparison is the whole bill. Here is four years on each plan at standard prices: the first term at the intro rate, then the renewal for the rest. Namecheap bills one year at a time, so three of the four years are at the renewal. The other hosts are shared plans we have tested, with their result under load.

Stellar costs less over four years than ChemiCloud or SiteGround even with no sale, because its renewal is low by shared hosting standards: $55.88 a year. hosting.com and Hostinger come out lower still, because they lock the intro price in for four years, and both have a measured result next to the price. The limit on Stellar is the plan itself, three websites and 20 GB, and the fact that we have no load result for it.
What Happens When the First Year Ends
The first-year price, and any Black Friday code, covers the first 12 months only. After that, Stellar renews at $55.88 a year, Stellar Plus at $85.44 and Stellar Business at $128.88. Namecheap prints it under each price and states that its advertised discount does not apply to renewals.
- Put the renewal date in your calendar when you buy, with a reminder about six weeks before.
- Price the domain renewal too. The free domain is for the first year; it renews at the regular price from year two.

How to Buy at the Lowest Price
- Open Namecheap's shared hosting page through our link or directly, and look for the Black Friday code printed on the page during the sale.
- Decide on the free trial. It is switched on by default. Switch it off if you want to pay for the year and keep the money-back guarantee, which applies only without the trial.
- Pick the plan: Stellar for up to three small sites, Stellar Plus for more sites with backups, Stellar Business for more storage.
- Enter the code at checkout and check that the first-year total dropped before you pay. The card price does not change in the sale.
- Claim the free domain and keep only the add-ons you chose.

What I Would Do
If Namecheap is the host I want, I would buy during the sale and use the code from Namecheap's own page, because on every past Black Friday the saving was in the code and nowhere else. I would switch the free trial off so the money-back guarantee applies, and check the first-year total in the cart. Because Stellar renews at $55.88 a year, the bill stays modest after the sale ends; what I would not get is a measured speed result, so for a site that earns money I would pick a host we have tested.

Namecheap has not announced it yet. On the records we have, its 2025 Black Friday promotion ran from 21 November to 5 December and its 2024 one from 29 November to 6 December, by the dates Namecheap printed on its shared hosting page.
Is there a Namecheap Black Friday coupon code for 2026?
Not yet. Every past Black Friday, Namecheap printed its own code on the shared hosting page: BFCMSTELLAR21, BFCMSHARED22, BFCMSHARED23, BFCMSHARED24 and MATRIXSHARED25. They have all expired. When the 2026 sale starts, take the code from Namecheap's own page and check the price in the cart before you pay.
How much does the Namecheap Black Friday coupon take off?

Not on the saved pages. The Stellar card showed the same price before and during the sale in 2022 to 2025 ($1.98 a month from 2023 to 2025), and in 2021 it was $1.58 in early October and $1.88 on Black Friday. The saving came from the coupon at checkout.

Should I take the Namecheap free trial or pay for the year?

Its terms say the money-back guarantee applies only when you buy without the trial, so pick one: the trial to try it first, or the paid year with the guarantee. In 2021 Namecheap's Black Friday terms also said the 30-day money-back did not apply to US and EU data center packages bought in the sale, so read the terms on the day.
Is Namecheap fast enough for WordPress?

Does Namecheap give EasyWP free for a year on Black Friday?
