Is Cloudways Black Friday worth waiting for? If your server will cost more than $20 a month, yes: 50% off for 3 months saves more than any year-round code, and in 2025 it came with 50 free expert migrations and half-price add-ons. On a 4GB Vultr High Frequency server that is $87.00 saved over the 3 months, against $52.20 with THATMY30.
If you only need the smallest server, don't wait. On the $11.00 DigitalOcean 1GB server, CLOUDS2022's $30 credit is worth more than the whole Black Friday discount ($16.50), and it works today.
What Cloudways Gave Last Black Friday (2025)
Cloudways called it the 50/50/50 offer:
- 50% off hosting for 3 months with code BFCM5050, on every cloud.
- 50 free expert-led migrations, done by Cloudways' team.
- 50% off add-ons: Cloudflare Enterprise, Malware Protection, Rackspace Email, Elastic Email, DNS Made Easy and the support plans.
- For existing customers: a $25 gift card for upgrading a plan by November 28, 2025.
Nothing about 2026 is confirmed. The pattern below is why most people expect at least the same.

Which server to pick in the sale: 1GB or 2GB for a blog or brochure site, 4GB for WooCommerce or a few busy sites, 8GB for an agency hosting many client sites. On Flexible you can resize later without moving the site, so start one size smaller rather than one size bigger.
Add-On Prices, Normal and at 50% Off
Cloudways shows most add-on prices only inside a running server, not on its pricing page. These are the prices I read in the console on September 21, 2026, and what they would be at the 2025 Black Friday discount:
Two things are free and never need a discount: the Patchstack vulnerability scanner (confirmed by Cloudways support chat on September 21, 2026) and managed WordPress migration. Email is not included in any plan, so budget for Google Workspace, Zoho Mail or the Rackspace add-on.

In 2025 the offer showed on the Cloudways homepage and pricing page for the whole window. This page gets the 2026 code as soon as it appears.

The signup form does not show a promo box. Click the small "I have a promo code" link under the form, then enter the code. It has to go in at signup; it cannot be added later.

What You Pay After the 3 Months
The normal monthly price, which is the same price a new customer pays. There is no renewal rate. That is the real difference from shared hosting Black Friday deals, which usually lock you into 1 to 4 years at a low price and then renew at two to four times as much.

How Agencies Should Use the Sale
- Buy one bigger server, not many small ones. An 8GB Vultr HF server at 50% off is $61.00 a month for 3 months ($183.00 saved) and hosts many client sites; Cloudways charges per server, not per site.
- Move every client site inside the window. With 50 free migrations in 2025, an agency could move its whole book at no cost.
- Buy per-app add-ons during the sale. Malware Protection drops to $3 per app at 6 to 15 apps, and to $1.50 at 50% off.
- Ignore Autonomous for client work. It hosts one website per plan, so ten clients means ten plans.

What is the Cloudways Black Friday 2026 deal?
Cloudways has not announced it yet (checked September 21, 2026). The 2025 deal, which ran November 12 to December 5 with code BFCM5050, was 50% off hosting for 3 months, 50 free expert-led migrations and 50% off add-ons. The discount has grown every year since 2021, so 2026 is expected to match it. This page updates when the 2026 code is live.
When does Cloudways Black Friday 2026 start?
Expect mid-November. The 2025 sale ran November 12 to December 5, 24 days, after windows of about 7 to 10 days in 2021 to 2024. There is no separate Cyber Monday price; it is one continuous sale.
What is the Cloudways Black Friday promo code for 2026?
Not released yet. The 2025 code was BFCM5050, and Cloudways issues a new code each year, so the 2025 code will not work in 2026. Until the sale opens, the year-round codes are THATMY30 (30% off for 3 months on Flexible), THATMYCLOUD (30% off on Autonomous) and CLOUDS2022 ($30 of credit).
How much does a Cloudways server cost during Black Friday?
At 50% off, a Vultr High Frequency 1GB server drops from $16.00 to $8.00 a month, and the 4GB server from $58.00 to $29.00. On DigitalOcean the 1GB server goes from $11.00 to $5.50. The discount lasts 3 months, then the normal price returns.
Is Black Friday better than THATMY30 or CLOUDS2022?
For most servers, yes. Over 3 months, 50% off beats THATMY30's 30% off on every size, and beats CLOUDS2022's $30 credit once your server costs more than $20 a month. On the smallest $11.00 DigitalOcean server, CLOUDS2022's $30 credit is actually worth more than the Black Friday discount. The Black Friday deal also added 50 free migrations and 50% off add-ons in 2025.
Can I combine the Black Friday code with THATMY30 or CLOUDS2022?
No. The signup form takes one promo code (it sits behind a small 'I have a promo code' link), so pick the one worth most for your server size.
Does Cloudways Black Friday lock me into a contract?
No. Cloudways bills monthly for what you use. After the 3 discounted months you pay the normal price, and you can resize or delete the server at any time. There is no 1 to 4 year prepayment like shared hosting Black Friday deals.
What happens to my price after the Black Friday discount ends?
It goes back to the normal monthly price, which is the same price new customers pay. There is no separate renewal rate: a $58.00 server stays at $58.00 in month 4 and in year 3.
Does the Black Friday deal cover Cloudways Autonomous?
The 2025 offer covered 'all hosting plans'. Autonomous (managed WordPress that scales itself, from $99.00 a month) is newer, so check the Autonomous checkout on the day. Outside Black Friday, THATMYCLOUD gives 30% off on Autonomous.
Can I try Cloudways before Black Friday?
Yes. The 3-day free trial needs no card. In my September 2026 test it ran one server size in practice (4GB DigitalOcean Premium) and kept AWS and Google Cloud locked, but it is enough to see the dashboard and test a site before the sale.
Can existing Cloudways customers get the Black Friday deal?
The main discount has been for new accounts. In 2025, existing customers who upgraded their plan by November 28 got a $25 gift card, and add-on discounts were open to them too. Nothing is announced for 2026 yet.
